Better Than Therapy

Water exercise class that is fun filled and gets you “charged up” in the morning. Water exercise is to be done at your own pace. You work as hard or as little as you choose. The work out is yours. However you do want to remember good posture and breathing techniques that will be taught in all water exercise classes. Drop in classes. Taught year round in the recreational (Big Pool). Water, water everywhere. Come on in!

Deep Water Aerobics Class

In this class you will be working in the deep water with the assistance of a deep-water belt. As you are suspended in the water this enhances using your core muscle groups to maintain good body mechanics while you will have a full body work out. Drop in classes. Taught year round in the recreational (Big Pool). Work that body!

Afternoon Delight

You said it. This class is just for you, those that have the “get up and go”. This class includes a variety of fun exercises specializing in water fitness and conditioning. Drop in classes. Taught year round in the recreational (Big Pool). Come share the delight. Join us in the afternoon.

Shoals swim practice

This practice is for swimmers ages 12 through adult.  Workouts are posted and 4 lanes are based on pace.  Beginner through advanced pace welcome.  If you are working on your first Triathlon, your 10th Iron Man or just trying to improve your swim time, this is the group for you.

Summer workout and sports conditioning

A challenging and intense full-body water workout aimed at building cardio and muscular endurance.  A perfect supplement for athletes wanting to improve their game and up their competition.  Workouts will include sprint movements, leg and arm work as well as constant core strengthening while working against the water’s resistance.  You’ll work muscles differently than what you can do on land.
