Child Watch and Kids Zone

Child Watch is a supervised service provided for member children (age 2 months to 12 years old) of adult members.

Parents who leave children in Child Watch must remain in the YMCA facilities. 

Children must be signed in and out. A membership card for the child must be presented when the child is brought into Child Watch.

A child may only remain in Child Watch/Kids Zone for 2 hours.

The YMCA staff may not change diapers, nor are they responsible for preparing formula or serving meals to children in their care.  The parent or guardian will be called to Child Watch to change the child’s diaper.

Kids Zone is a play maze for children between the ages of 2 years and 12 years old. 

Children in Kids Zone between the ages of 2 years and 5 years must be supervised by their parents or legal guardian.

Children between the ages of 6 and 12 years may be signed in by the parent or guardian but the     parent/guardian must remain present in the YMCA facility.

Children under the age of 13 must be under the direct supervision of a parent or in Child Watch or Kids Zone.

Safety is a priority at your YMCA.  We enforce the following age restrictions in general: 

Unless involved in a YMCA program (for example youth sports, karate, gymnastics, etc.) youths under the age of 13 MUST be under the direct supervision of a parent.
